The mini sweater I began knitting in October is almost done. I am definitely in a serious stripe phase. I just love stripes, both knitting them and how they make a garment look.
The downside to stripes is the binding off. Now the fun begins…
By the way, did you notice the colour of my mini sweater?
I was thinking boy on the way......am I correct???? ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy friend had her third child today and second little boy!
... you are so very, very close...
DeleteHow lovely that he is here already to be loved and enjoyed! Congratulations!
DeleteIt makes me think of summers by the sea.
ReplyDeleteyes that too... the colours remind me of summers in Greece.
DeleteI am a stripe-addict too, but I don't have to bind off all those strands! I carry the color of the stripe from one to next, and sometimes, if they are too separate I pass the other color over it so there is no strands in the inside of the garment... does it have sense to you? I could make a photo of any of my kintting but surely there is a lot of tutorials out there, search for it!!
ReplyDeleteMini-baby-blue? :)
Ohhh I will have to check this out... thanks for the tip!
DeleteIs there a small blue-wearing person on the way?
ReplyDeleteI love stripes too.
Me encanta.
