Falmende lys - Fading light

Hvordan gjør dere andre skandinaver denne utfordringer?

Fall is sneaking its way to Oslo. The changing colours of the leaves, the reds, oranges and yellows are beautiful against the blue sky. The air has turned crisp and chilly and I have stacked up my kitchen cabinets with tasty teas. There is however one thing about autumn (and winter) that I don’t like very much and which raises a blog challenge. Each day that passes by the sun hides behind the roof tops sooner and sooner. It is getting to a point were by the time I am home from work (usually around five o’clock) there is hardly enough light for me to take pictures. Within a week or so there will not be enough light once I’m home for the day and I will have to take pictures during the weekends. I wonder how that’s going to work. How do you other Scandinavians (or “Alaskians”) resolve this challenge?

  1. I know - it's dark when you leave and dark when you get home! Really gets to me too. I'm lucky in that I get quite a long lunchbreak and for the moment I've got 2 afternoons a week off to do my studying so I take my photos then. I take my camera with me to work too though, so often I take pictures on my way there or back. That works so far. Not so good with taking photos of fabric or projects at home though. Good luck!
