Unfinished knitting projects are piling up. So many things to knit, so many more ideas, and so little time. I don’t know where to start and when to finish.
How about you? What’s on your needles these days? Do you have piles gathering up? Or are you a one-project-at-a-time kind of person?
Hello! I am so good at starting things and not finishing them....I call it startitis! I am knitting a pair of mittens from a ravelry pattern called Perianth, using some of the wool I bought on Shetland. I am enjoying knitting with it. Nearly finished the first one. Will I finish the second one?
ReplyDeleteYes of course you will. I will personaly make an inspection next year, so hurry up!
DeleteWell, those piles certainly look beautiful! I tend to be more of a one-at-a-time knitter (not so with quilting and with the exception of the 10-year sweater LOL) but I have a growing stash of yarn and patterns which is starting to scare me. I need to stop looking at new stuff until I can complete some of the stuff in piles!
ReplyDeletewell, I don't knit, but if I were, it would be one project at a time!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, spoken like a true non-knitter! I would too!
DeleteMany unfinished projects... I worry I won't recognize some when I finally return. I'm currently knitting a simple pale green baby blanket for a new little guy named Felix.
ReplyDeleteFelix is such a beautiful name... who does he belong to...? Do you have news for us...?
DeleteNo, no news here. Felix is a friend's new baby. I love the name too.
DeleteI am exactly the same! To many new ideas and projects;) Right now I am knitting a hat for my brother for Christmas, maybe I will be done today. Ater that I will be working on a new design. I try to work on one thing at a time but it is never easy;) should have been an octopus, haha! And a question for you in Norweian; hvordan lager du flere sider i menyen? (Making, cooking...osv) jeg har ikke helt funnet ut av det enda..og hvordan blir innleggene publisert der?

DeleteI buy those little gift bags at the dollar store to keep each project along with the needles and the instructions in . let me tell you I must have twelve bags piled up in my bedroom, two by my chair, one in my car and who knows howwwww many in my craft room. I really need to get serious about finishing some too.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a picture of all your dollar store bags in line!
DeleteSå mye fint du har på gang! Jeg har oftest bare noen få prosjekt på gang, men innimellom begynner jeg på mye nytt samtidig;)
ReplyDeleteOh, I have piles of ongoing knitting project all around my house;-) I'm most certainely not a one-project knitter. I love the colours of your UFO's! Looking forward to seeing them finished.
ReplyDeletei wish i could knit ;)
